Mitsubish Electric's vertical floor units offer exceptional characteristics in a compact design. They require a minimum installation area and are easily integrated into any trade or services space. With high seasonal energy efficiency, advanced control options and silent operation, PSA-M is a particularly suitable choice for climating requirements in "open spaces" from companies, public services, event enclosures, or cultural spaces.
The SCROLL Inverter DC Compressor Pulley Mechanism, developed by Mitsubishi Electric, ensured higher efficiency values, reducing friction losses and compression cell leakage. This structure, designed in asymmetry with sliding scroll, allows greater performance, especially with partial loads, having a pioneer in obtaining higher seasonal efficiency rates.
Mitsubishi Electric has adapted its vast experience in electric motors to develop compressor engines used in air conditioning equipment. The system driver ideally structure the sinusoidal wave of the electric current with the help of a microprocessor. Consisting of two different technologies, modulator (PAM) and Magnetic Flux Vector converter, this solution reduces power losses, ensuring 98% effective use of consumed energy and increasing engine winding activity ratio. This allowed a high operation efficiency and energy efficiency values without parallel.
Mitsubishi Electric's Eco Inverter Technology (PWM) allows sensitive control of compressor engine frequency variation to respond to constant variation in capacity needs. Instant consumption has been reduced, structuring the sinusoidal wave from the electric current to the most efficient engine speed. This efficiency is ensured to variable frequencies of the compressor engine to reduce energy consumption and allow high seasonal efficiency values. Thanks to this function, the noise of the metal clicks of the traditional inverter systems was eliminated.
Power Receiver and Linear Expansion Valve Circuit (LEV), developed by Mitsubishi Electric, optimize compressor performance. The frequency mode of operation and the changes caused by the conditions abroad are kept under control through this optimization. The compression load in the compressor can thus be reduced and the operation performance is increased according to the characteristics of the fridge fluid.
The maximum current value used when the unit is running can be limited through a "DIP switch" switch. This limitation is recommended for control of power consumption. However, the use of this function reduces the maximum capacity of the equipment.
Power receiver fan control technologies, implemented by Mitsubishi Electric, ensure high cooling and heating performance, even during the most rigorous winter. This guarantees the heating operation of PSA -M at temperatures up to -20ºC.
The outside unit fan is driven by a high efficiency DC engine. This engine offers much greater efficiency compared to similar AC motors.
